Glacier Point

The 2nd day in Yosemite we went on a long windy road to Glacier Point. We did not realize how narrow the road would be, but Mark did amazing with his driving skills in our huge RV!

Glacier Point is at a high elevation and still had some snow on the ground. You could tell that we came from an area where we do not see snow very often...our kids were the only ones wanting to play in it. :)

There was a amazing view of Half Dome from the lookout. I cant believe that people climb the side of it! There was actually a helicoper doing a rescue off the side while we were watching. You could see the rescue person at the end of a long rope hanging of the helicopter. There was another person watching with his binoculars telling us what was happening. I guess someone was on the side of the dome...stuck!
