Cadence & Dylan

Cadence is now 20 months and is a lot of fun, her little personality has been really coming out.

She is saying a bunch of different words and trys really hard to communicate. Sometimes she rattles on for a bit in a unknown language and I'll answer her by saying, "really" and she responds by saying "yeah", she really thinks we are having a conversation. :) She plays on her own for a bit now, plays with her baby doll (tries to feed and give drinks), loves to read books, started doing animal noises, knows all her body parts and loves shoes. She is super sensitive and very affectionate.

Dylan and her play good together (of course there are always a few exceptions). He is a really good helper and enjoys that Cadence wants to be around him. He is very excited about the new baby and asks all the time when Isabelle will be here.

This video is so precious :)

Dylan is always asking what we are doing for the day and is always wanting to be doing something or going somewhere. He loves to play in the water & outside. Is really into Lego's and building ships. We tried Karate lessons...but he did not like it at all.

We went to Castles and Coasters a little while back and he loved all the roller coasters & rides. He would just laugh and have a huge smile on his face.

The things that come out of his mouth are funny & amazing to me, here are a few things...

- "Mommy are you going to trust me to drive a car when I get older"

- "I can't go to heaven because I am allergic to God" (said randomly while playing one day)

- "Sister sure does love me, doesn't she"

- "It's ok mommy, when you get old and go to heaven you will see Lincoln again"

- "Grandma, you are a expert" (said to Grandma B while on a hike/walk and her explaining the different plants & cactus

- "God loves me more than you do mommy"

Isabelle will be here soon, 2 more weeks until my due date. Another adventure will be added to our family. :)
