Wednesday night Israel, Kati, Mark and myself took a red eye flight to Jamaica. The trip had been planned months before and it felt like the time would never come for us to leave. We had a very long layover in Atlanta, so we went into the city and had breakfast and played ROOK in a park. We were very tired but still had a lot of fun!
We arrived in Jamaica in the afternoon on Thursday. We stayed our first 3 nights in Negril which is on the West side of the island at a hotel called Catcha Falling Star. It was so beautiful, the grounds look like a garden paradise and it is located right on the cliffs of the ocean where you can jump (or climb the ladder) right down into the water.
This is my view on the first day. Relaxing, reading a book, enjoying the sun and the amazing view. It was hard to take in that I really am in Jamaica and how beautiful it is.

This is the view from the balcony of our hotel suite!
We had dinner at the hotel restaurant, we all shared bites from each others plates so we could experience all the different flavors of food. Each was so delicious! It is the low season of tourism right now (it's the last part of hurricane season) so there are so little people around. It really felt like at times that we had the whole place to ourselves, it has been great!
