Playa Del Carmen, Mexico!!

 We were able to take an amazing trip to Mexico with Israel and Kati. It has now become my most favorite vacation ever! It was a perfect mix of nature and city with fantastic food & drinks!

 We took a ferry over to Cozumel and rented scooters and rode around the entire island. It was so much fun, there was hardly anyone else around and so beautiful!

 We went to a preserve called Xplor that we were able to go canoeing, cave swimming & zip lining. All of these things were new experiences and it was by far my favorite day!

Special Events

 My mom wrote a book! Becoming a Oak of Righteousness. This was at her book release party. I'm really proud of her for challenging herself to write and love being able to read the transformations God has done in people who she has counseled. 

 Celebrated Grandpa R's birthday!

 And had Thanksgiving with tradition of thankful basket which the kids always enjoy!

November!

 Mark taught Dylan how to play poker...and he loves it. He's getting good at it and wants to play all the time. :)

 Homework at the park!

 Cadence had a field trip to the zoo with school. 

 Dylan is improving with basketball and is learning more technique. 

 this was the month of dentist appointments. We were a little behind so the whole family got their teeth checked. 

 Isabelle is always my helper...especially when it comes to baking. :)

 We had so much basil growing in our garden so the girls helped me pick the leaves and we made pesto...yum!

 We have a campout in our backyard. Mark and I in one tent and the kids in the other. It confirmed that I really don't like camping very much! But the kids had so much fun!!

 Time to pick the sweet potatoes! We got a good amount and the kids had a blast finding them all.

Sea Life Aquarium

 For family fun day we took the kids to the Sea Life Aquarium. 

I love Cadence's face in this one! We were scared because of being in a sharks mouth :)

Fall has arrived!

 We took the kids to a farm to pick out pumpkins and was able to enjoy all the fall fun things they had. :)

 We also went with the Whittemores to the hot air balloon festival. The kids could dress up and get candy from the different balloons. 

 Dylan was a glow in the dark stick man for 2nd year in a row!
