2017! California Trip

 We took a trip to see Michelle and John and of course had to go to the beach even though it was foggy and chilly...but was still a fantastic time!

 And we went to Knotts Berry Farm. The rides were great for the kids!

Christmas 2016!

 The tradition of dad reading the story of Jesus' birth and the kids acting out continued. :)

 We had a great family Christmas in our new home. Cadence got a new bike, Isabelle got a ipad and Dylan got a XBox One. It's fun to be able to spoil them!

December Memories!

 She got a new pair of glasses that look more like "mama's" and she loves them! I no longer have to nag her about wearing her glasses. :)

 I would beg my mom to play life with me every Sunday afternoon. So fun to have the kids playing it together!

 We have grass in our yard...and it is SOOOO wonderful!! Our yard feels huge and the kids have space to play! 

 For by birthday I wanted us to serve together at a food program. So we all helped out preparing and serving food to homeless and families needing help. I loved every minute of the kids being able to help out also!

 I love him so much!

Mark and the kids built the rest of the tree fort! Dylan's first time using the saw and he did amazing! I love that we will have this space for the kids to remember from their childhood all the things they did in this fort!

 Cadence's teacher invited the glass to go see the movie Hidden Figures about NASA allowing equal rights. Was a great time and thankful for her great teacher! Except that Isabelle got sick about half way through and threw up all over the place about 3 times. Poor thing...had yuck all over her!

My birthday Surprise - Costa Rica!

I couldn't have been more surprised when 

It took me a second to process what was happening and all the details that would need to be taken care of in order to go on a vacation for my 40th birthday! But one of the gifts I felt was that he had thought through every detail and had everything taken care of...I mean everything! Which is not like him. :)

The trip was amazing. Relaxing and perfect to be able to spend it with our best friends also. I feel very loved!! We spent half the time near a volcano that had natural springs running through the town. And the rest of the time near the ocean. The perfect combination!
